After Home Depot we went to Chiefland for the watermelon festival. They had a parade - which was mainly all the contestants from the watermelon queen beauty contest sitting on the roofs of huge pickups and SUV's and a few huge tractors. The folks in the parade tossed candy so the parade was a big hit. Then we walked around the booths and got a free slice of watermelon.
After the festival we had lunch, went shopping and after a nap in the car for the girls we finished the day with ice cream.
